The United Movements of Resistance (MUR) are a fusion of several networks that rebelled against the status quo imposed since October 13th, 1990.

MUR’s main goals are:

1. Freeing the territory from all foreign military presence
2. Rejecting feudalism and political sectarianism in order to establish a secular democracy
3. Struggling to achieve social justice
4. Edifying a modern, independent and sovereign state within Lebanon’s internationally recognized boundaries
5. Respecting and applying the Human Rights Charter
6. Fighting collaboration, treason and corruption
7. Faith in the Lebanese military as the only solution
